One Million Women Dreaming

Every miracle began because someone dared to dream that things could be different.

Have you ever dreamed about things being different? Did you have the support you needed to pursue your dream?

What would have happened if there had been a community of women you could have shared your dream with? What would you have done if you had a million women praying with you, sharing resources and talents and believing that you and God had a great idea they celebrated? What might have happened if you had some other women who lovingly and clearly held you accountable to pursue your God-given dream with passion and diligence?

Anything might have happened! Who knows how many you and God might have touched?

If this sounds like a dream – IT IS! I believe that God is calling one million women from diverse backgrounds to join hands with God in dreaming that the realities of the world will change to be as God desires them. I believe God desires peace, justice, hope, shelter, food, medical care and opportunities to grow and contribute for all of God’s people. As we dream with God, I believe the ONE MILLION WOMEN DREAMING will choose to take actions and create alliances that before we may have thought to be impossible. With God’s help miracles will happen!

I would invite you to decide if you are one of the ONE MILLION WOMEN DREAMING. If you are, please post on this blog or contact Donna Rose-Heim at dreamwalkingdrh@yahoo.com. What does your participation mean?

1. Dreaming with God each day for at least 5 minutes.
2. Sharing your dreams with God by email or through the blog so your sisters can be in support of you by prayer as well as sharing information and resources that may help propel your dream.
3. Choosing 1-3 women you will encourage and mentor to dream. This includes mutual accountability and support.
4. Sharing this message with 3 or more women that you believe are called to be a part of ONE MILLION WOMEN DREAMING.

May God bless you with abundant dreams that help to heal the world.

I am dreaming with you Donna. I have been dreaming for several years about a world of peace; a world of social justice. I believe that we carry on the dreams of many women who came before us. Mary the mother of Jesus and Mother Teresa, come to my mind immediately when I think of women whose dreams changed the world. I believe in the incredible power of the Divine who works mysteriously and beautifully in women of Spirit.
I dream daily for the health and wholeness of my teenage daughter who suffers from mental illness. I dream that God will use me as a loving leader, a world changer, who inspires peace and justice.
I love your book and enjoy the fellowship of several women in our church who engage in a study with "Dream Walking". I look forward to engaging with other women who are dreaming.

Donna, I so enjoyed writing your review. I am also so touched by the comments and the news that the books are traveling to Africa! Dreams do come true! God and you continue to make a believer out of me!

In Dream Walking, the author pulls the reader into her dynamic short stories, in an intriguing, interactive format. With God at the front as the Almighty Dreamer of Dreams, she captivates her audience with antidotes from many life experiences, including, wisdom of the scriptures from the #1 Best Seller in the World!

As women most of us can relate to the author through her victories, trials, and the juggling act of playing so many different roles in life, (Wife, Mother, Friend, Career Woman, House Keeper, Chauffeur, Counselor, etc…). She reminds us that through the hustle and bustle of life we need to stop and smell the roses, so to speak, to take time out every day to focus on our dreams. She inspires every woman to step outside of the box and take a leap of faith in Dream Walking with God.

What’s more, with the Daily Prayer Journal and Interpreting the Dream at the end of each chapter, we answer questions and look introspectively at our current situations and decide how we can improve or increase our personal success. Interactively, the reader can chapter by chapter, find parallels between the stories of the Bible and how they apply to our lives today.

I genuinely see Dream Walking as a treasure to every book shelf. It has helped me and my family, including my Mother and my daughters grow spiritually closer to God. It has reminded me to remember God and his abundant blessings. It has encouraged me to never give up on my dreams even when life presents its many obstacles.

In one passage, the Author says: “For when you and I really dream of something, we become an active part of the realization of that dream. We begin to act, feel, trust, and work as though it is true. We make the dream real first in ourselves and then we help to create it in others”

She not only invites us to focus on our own dreams, but, she encourages each of us to share our dreams to bring encouragement and blessings to others in our lives. Dream Walking will undoubtedly renew your spiritual energy and create a greater desire to reach your dreams through a closer walk with God.

I have been touched today with a dreamer who I have enjoyed so much. Her dreaming has now led to action and going back to school in the fall. I have dreams that her life will touch so many in rural America with her Masters in Social work. I do dream for wholeness of so many lives right now. It is so nice to dream. Tinker
